I joined CL more of curiosity than anything else on Jan. 21, 2005. That very same night, I received my first admiration letter from a lovely, sincere lady named Jody Li(P203061). Her words touched my heart and her pictures were gorgeous, and of the several other ladies who wrote to me over the next few days, none of them connected with me like Jody did. We emailed each other regularly through CL for several months before continuing our correspondence through daily direct emails, and talking on the phone once a week. In June I booked travel plans to visit Jody in Chengdu. By the end of August, we realized we were already deeply in love and were discussing wedding plans! On Oct. 11 we finally met in the airport in Chengdu, and for me, it was like reuniting with someone I'd already known for years. Our repoire was extremely easy and natural. We very quickly fell head over heels for each other and held our wedding celebration with Jody's family on Oct. 15. We traveled to Guilin for several days and never stopped smiling and laughing together. At the end of our magical two weeks together, we were unable to let go of each other at the airport, and I barely caught my plane back to America on time! I am absolutely crazy in love with the most wonderful woman I have ever met, and I am now beginning the process of getting her a visa to come and live with me in Los Angeles. We will be together always.
CL has brought us together and changed our lives forever, and we could not be more grateful for the bridge that helped us find each other from halfway around the world! Thank you, thank you, thank you, with all my heart.
